Neon Slipstream

★★★★☆ 4.2 Editor rating

Neon Slipstream isn't a simulator and never pretends to be. It's about that hair-raising feeling of threading a gap at full throttle while the walls smear into light. Steering is tilt or touch, and both work well once you calm your hands down.

The track design is where it shines. Each course hides shortcuts you only spot on the second or third run, and shaving half a second becomes weirdly addictive. Ghost replays let you race your own best line, which I found more motivating than any leaderboard.

It leans hard on style — the soundtrack pulses, the trails glow — but underneath there's a tight racer that punishes greed and rewards clean lines. A great pick-up-and-go game.
